Multimedia training offered to journalists

The California Newspaper Publishers Association is offering a workshop March 14 in Visalia that, among other things, will show journalists how to transform a traditional linear article into a non-linear story comprising text, still photos, video, audio and graphics. Presented by Jane Ellen Stevens, a freelance multimedia journalist who teaches multimedia reporting at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism. Seminars are $145 per person per day. For information, go to CNPA’s web site or call (916) 288-6018.
