KNTV NBC11 has purchased a new helicopter with four cameras that should provide more stable and close-up pictures than previously possible. The Bell 206 L4 LongRanger is equipped with emergency floats allowing Chopper 11 to fly directly across the Bay when required. “Flying in dusk and dawn will be more common for Chopper 11 now with a high-tech aerial camera that has great resolution and provides a picture that remains crisp even in extremely low light,” NBC11 said in a press release.
