At a meeting Wednesday (Feb. 8) of the general managers of San Francisco’s TV and news-radio stations, one of the most interesting concepts discussed was “Google-proofing” the news. That means, a station will seek stories people can’t find on the Internet. Of course local news is often reported first by local stations, before it hits the Internet.
