Knight Ridder chief executive and Woodside resident Tony Ridder (pictured) personally stands to make more than $100 million with the sale of his company to McClatchy, according to a story today (March 14) in the rival SF Chronicle. The story also provides estimates of what other top KR executives will make. For instance, senior vps Mary Jean Connors and Steve Rossi could each gain $30 milion. All of the “key” execs on the 15th floor of KR headquarters in San Jose will also get three-years’ of salary, health and life insurance.
