Kansas City Times baseball writer Jason Whitlock, writing for ESPN.com, says that “the media” destroyed Barry Bonds because he was “Barry, Barry Bad to us. When he chose to interact with the media, he was condescending and rude. He thought he didn’t need us. He thought he swung the biggest stick in the park. He was Barry mistaken.” Bonds’ reality show on ESPN was put on hiatus this week, a nice way of saying it’s been cancelled. The last episode airs Monday at 4 p.m. Pacific.
