The wife and young daughters of CNET editor James Kim were found alive in the snowbound mountains of southern Oregon today after they disappeared nine days ago, but Kim — who left his family two days ago to find help — remains missing. Rescuers were using a heat-detecting helicopter to hunt for him last night. Follow links to coverage from the Chronicle, KCBS Radio and CNET News.
