Josh Wolf says he plans to go to Congress and lobby for a shield law that would protect bloggers and independent journalists as well as media employees. “We shouldn’t have government deciding who is or isn’t a journalist,” Wolf is quoted by the Chron as saying. He was released from prison after he agreed to give prosecutors the videotape they wanted, showing an anarchist protest in San Francisco. Wolf has also posted the entire tape on his blog.
