Heather Holmes (left) will be the next weekend anchor at KTVU, sharing the anchor desk with Ken Wayne (right), according to Susan Young’s TV blog. Holmes started her career in Lubbock, Texas and was at WPIX in New York before arriving in the Bay Area. She started at Channel 2 as a freelancer in January 2006 and went full-time in November 2007. Here’s her bio. Holmes replaces Sara Sidner, who joined CNN and is being assigned to a bureau in India.
