Two director positions are now open on the San Francisco Peninsula Press Club’s board of directors. Jennifer Aquino, who is teaching journalism and advising the student newspaper at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, tendered her resignation in December. Jay Thorwaldson, editor of the Palo Alto Weekly, said he was forced to give up his position when the Weekly changed production days. Both positions are one-year terms; anyone appointed to those terms by the board will need stand for election in December.
