Dave Newhouse of the Oakland Tribune reports that former KPIX sportscaster Rick Quan is thriving in his new career as a producer of corporate videos, biographies and short documentaries. Quan, 53, was in broadcast news for 30 years and was at Channel 5 for 21 years when the station let him go two years ago.
