Save the date. The San Francisco Peninsula Press Club will present its Greater Bay Area Journalism Awards on Saturday, June 19, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 1221 Chess Drive, Foster City. Cocktails will start at 6 p.m. with the program at 7. The annual banquet draws the leading lights of Bay Area journalism. Award-winners will be contacted via e-mail, though they won’t be told if they won first-, second- or third-place awards. That information will be kept under wraps until the banquet.
