The website newspaperlayoffs.com, which tracks buyouts and layoffs in the U.S. newspaper industry, is trying to track down information on the BANG layoffs a few weeks ago. Walnut Creek Patch reported that 24 employees were laid off and 10 more “voluntarily resigned.” Erica Smith of newspaperlayoffs.com wants to know if those 10 who supposedly resigned on their own actually accepted a buyout offer.
