It is with great sadness that we remember the legendary San Francisco radio reporter Barbara Taylor, who passed away on October 26. Barbara covered City Hall and the political scene with passion for more than four decades. The hardworking KCBS SF bureau chief died from complications from a car accident several months ago. She was an exceptional, well-respected reporter and a familiar voice to the KCBS audience. The Chronicle is calling her a civic treasure, which isn’t an exaggeration.
