KTVU is hiring the news director at the Fox affiliate in Indianapolis to head its newsroom at Channel 2 in Oakland. Lee Rosenthal, 33, who has worked as a reporter, anchor, producer and the last four years as news director, will start April 22. He replaces Ed Chapuis, who left Channel 2 in January. Before working at WXIN, Rosenthal was executive producer at WBNS in Columbus, Ohio. He also worked at WFTS in Tampa, Fla., WVLT in Knoxville, Tenn., and WBNG in Binghamton, N.Y.
