Listeners buy CDs of KGO promos

For the 29th annual KGO Leukemia Cura-A-Thon, Production Director Mike Amatori produced a collection of KGO 810 promos, faux commercials and editorials, special opens and announcements. They sold 400 copies of the CD, which earned the Bay Area Leukemia and Lymphoma Society $26,000. The CDs were $65 each.

This is the fourth CD Amatori has produced for the KGO Cure-A-Thon since 2004. This volume is titled “Stop Me Before I Produce Again.” The CD, along with the three others (“Mike Amatori Unplugged” “Mike Amatori Reloaded” and “The Unusual Suspects”) have earned over $164,000 for the leukemia and lymphoma society.
