Dave Kellogg, sports editor at The Herald in Monterey for the past six years, is the new city editor. He came to Monterey six years ago from the San Jose Mercury News, where he worked for five years on the sports desk. He is a 20-year veteran journalist who also worked at the Peninsula Times Tribune and at the Antioch Daily Ledger. Kellogg graduated from San Jose State University.
