Clear Channel’s San Francisco AM stations, KQKE 960 “The Quake” and KNEW 910, are holding their own version of a candidates debate, but without the politicians, All Access reports. The second annual “Great Debate” will pit the conservative hosts of KNEW against the liberal hosts on The Quake. The event takes place Oct. 27 at the University of San Francisco. On the conservative side will be KNEW morning hosts Armstrong and Getty, along with syndicated hosts Jerry Doyle and Rusty Humphries. On the liberal side are The Quake’s syndicated stars, Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartman, Rachel Maddow with comedian Johnny Steele. Former SF mayor Willie Brown will be the moderator. The show will air on tape a few days later.
