Press Club honors high school journalists

Students from nine Bay Area high schools were commended for outstanding newspaper and yearbook during the 2015 High School Journalism Awards. Sponsored by the San Francisco Peninsula Press Club, the awards ceremony took place on May 21 at the San Mateo History Museum in Redwood City. The San Francisco Peninsula Press Club’s eighth annual High School Journalism Boot Camp is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at The College of San Mateo. Aragon High School in San Mateo took top honors at the San Francisco Peninsula Press Club’s 2013 High School Journalism Awards, which were presented Thursday afternoon at the San Mateo County History Museum in Redwood City.
