SF Press Club Announces Bospar Will Buy Journalists First Round of Drinks

Bospar is known as the award-winning, “politely pushy” PR + marketing agency

SAN FRANCISCO – December 4, 2023 – The San Francisco Press Club announced Bospar will buy the first round of drinks for journalists at the SF Press Club 46th annual awards gala next week. This comes after the press club announced a record 544 entries, the third time in a row the SF Press Club broke its previous record.  

“Our early bird pricing of $75 a ticket ends Dec. 7, so buy your tickets now,” said Curtis Sparrer, the president of the SF Press Club and principal of Bospar. “When I produced for KRON4, some of my best ideas came during cocktail hour!”

The awards gala takes place Wednesday, Dec. 13 at The Elks Lodge #3 at 450 Post Street in San Francisco. Cocktail service begins at 5:30 p.m., with dinner and awards commencing at 6:30 p.m. CNBC’s Deirdre Bosa of TechCheck and KPIX’s Ryan Yamamoto will emcee. The New York Times’ SF Bureau Chief Heather Knight will take part in a special Q&A about the biggest issues in the media.
